Eden Shabtai

Originally from a kibbutz in the Northern Israel, Eden Shabtai began her training in ballet and modern dance at the age of 7.  At the time formal Hip-Hop training didn't exist in Israel, so her only way to learn was from watching MTV.  Always determined and passionate about dance, she set her goals high and decided that after the Army she would move to New York City, train in Hip-Hop and "be on MTV". At the age of 16 she left home and moved to a special dance school. After serving in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force), Eden travelled abroad and lived in India for six months before embarking on her goals and moving to NYC to make her dreams a reality.

Eden began her time in NYC taking classes at Broadway Dance Center from some of city’s best choreographers and instructors.  A short time later she began to teach kids age 4-11, having over 150 students, all while building her resume as a choreographer working with up and coming signed artists.  After a few years living in NYC Eden decided to move to Los Angeles in January 2010.  Since her arrival to Hollywood, Eden has worked on networks such as NBC, ABC, BET, CBS, VH1, CW and MTV. She has worked on several nationally televised shows, including the MTV Video Music Awards, The Grammys, Billboard Awards, iHeart Festival, iHeart Awards, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, X Factor, Wango Tango, The Ellen Show, The Soul Man, American Idol, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Jingle Ball. Eden’s experience working with brands includes advertisements for major companies such as Hasbro, Office Max, Office Depot and Clark's. Eden also has worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, PitBull, Jason Derulo, Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne, Jay Sean, Marc Anthony, Tyga, Flo-Rida, Brandy, Omarion, Miguel, Little Mix, Sevyn Streeter, No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, Pia Mia, Kehlani. Katy Tiz, Janelle Monae, Fleur East, Priyanka Chopra, Tinashe, Ester Dean and many more. Additionally, she choreographed Jack and Jack's 2016 U.S./European tour, and Demi Lovato’s WeDay performance.

Eden’s versatility as an artist continues to expand, and her belief that hard work results in great opportunity is how she lives her life. As Eden said best, "There is nothing better than seeing your vision come to life"…surely that’s a message that resonates for all, including Eden whose journey began at a kibbutz.
