Aahkilah Cornelius

Aahkilah began dancing at the age of 12 after successfully competing in gymnastics at a high level. She obtained her diverse vocabulary in dance by studying under gifted artists of various backgrounds from Florida and New York. Following high school, Aahkilah found a training base in Anthony Burrell’s Breaking Barriers. Since then, she strives to not only be accepted, but valued. This motivated her to relocate her brand of artistic expression from Florida to Los Angeles, California. Her first major breakthrough was dancing at the VMA’s with Beyoncé in 2016. From there, Aahkilah has worked with various artists and brands such as Pepsi, Old Navy, Apple, Clinique, Little Mix, Remy Ma, Dua Lipa, Chris Brown, Jussie Smollett and Janelle Monae. Aahkilah's platform is to expand her reach in order to inspire other artists. Her mission is to encourage artists to work for their passions through adversity in order to increase their sense of self-worth.
