Christina De La Cruz

Born and raised in Toronto, Christina de la Cruz's trained in both Hula and Tap, before discovering her true love for Hip Hop and street styles at a local community centre. After spending a year training in commercial jazz at the OIP Dance Company, she began to work professionally in the Canadian entertainment industry. Since then, she has had the privilege to work with Anjulie, Janelle Monae, Kiesza, Psy, Ylvis, Dragonette, Nelly Furtado, Zoe Kravitz and Nike & Footlocker. She has had recurring roles on the Family Channel's Backstage, Nickelodeon's Make It Pop and YTV's the Next Star. Recently, she has explored more theatrical sides of urban dance, through projects such as Cirque Du Soleil's Pan Am Games Ceremony, Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show, Disney’s Descendants 2 and the Monsters of Hip Hop Show. When home in Toronto she performs critically acclaimed works by companies like Gadfly and the Girls Club. She returns to LA fresh off of Drake’s Boy Meets World Tour of Europe. She considers a strong work ethic and a humble mentality two of a dancer’s greatest tools for success in this industry.
