Jasmine Albuquerque



Jasmine Albuquerque is a dancer, choreographer, actress and visual artist based in Los Angeles. She has performed with companies such as Hysterica, Blue13 Bollywood, Collage Dance Theater and Ryan Heffington's Fingered. Other performances include TEDx SoCal, KTCHN, We Are The World, Hazm, and Hecuba at venues including the Hammer Museum, The Ford, The Orpheum, MOCA, El Rey, Masonic Lodge, Art Basel, Miami, Frequency Festival UK, Istanbul Light Festival, Desert Daze and LACMA. Jasmine can be seen in season two of Transparent and has choreographed for Samsung, Devendra Banhart, Seeb, Monica Dogra and Bob Wayne, and danced in videos for Rodrigo Amarante, Ry X, The Acid, Jessica Tonder, MIKA, Laura Marling, Verve Records, Fitz & The Tantrums, Beck and Morcheeba. She trained at UCLA, The Edge and in Budapest, Hungary where she went to school. She is a founding member of WIFE which she finds infinitely inspiring. Her class is “a quirky mix of jazz, contemporary and ballet” that emphasizes ease and grace and is set to an indie/electro soundtrack.
