Kaila Kawasaki

Kaila was born and raised in Simi Valley, California.  She began dancing at 3 years old and competing at 5. Her first dance solo was at age 6.  At that point, she already knew then that she loved to perform.  She tried other sports/activities, but always realized that dance was her passion.
At age 8, she modeled for a dance catalog for the first time and found out that she also enjoyed being in front of the camera.
Since she started dancing competitively, Kaila has earned multiple regional and national titles as well as several scholarships.  She was chosen to perform her lyrical solo at Disney World and has participated in The Nutcracker Ballet.  For two years, she was a member of the NBA Clippers Jr. Jam Squad and loves performing in front of large crowds.  She is currently a member of Hollywood Vibe Dance Company and Teen Prodigy with NRG Dance Project, traveling throughout the country with each company.
Kaila has appeared in several music videos, commercials, print ads and a video game.  She assisted teacher/choreographer, Angel Tyson in both classes and performances.  Kaila was also just recently named Fresh Face in The Young Fashion Kids Magazine.  She is currently signed with Bloc Talent Agency and Paloma Model and Talent.When Kaila finds some free time between school, dance and modeling, she loves to bake and do crafts.  Her specialty is cupcakes.
Her future goals are to continue to dance, model and do commercials. Kaila trains in studios throughout Los Angeles with an emphasis in contemporary/ballet.  However, she is a very versatile dancer.  No matter what style or theme, from hip hop to ballet to tap, she just wants to perform and get into character.   Although she’s a quiet and polite girl, once she hits that stage, her personality shines.
