Miesha Moore



Miesha Moore is a versatile dancer whose style is influenced by contemporary, Ballet, modern techniques such Horton, Graham, hip hop, street jazz and more.  Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Miesha’s passion for dance began at 4 years old at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance were she was exposed to a variety of dance genres including African, ballet, hip hop, modern (Dunham) technique.  In her early years, she ran track and played competitive soccer.  At the age of 13, she was chosen to attend the Denver School of the Arts where she majored in dance.  She was a member of the CPRD Training Group and the Michelle Latimer Dance Academy Company while attending arts school through out middle school and high school.

She relocated to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University and to fulfill her dream to be a working commercial dancer.  While at LMU she took acting and vocal courses and was part of an externship in NYC at the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Center were she was immersed in training for a semester.  While in New York, she also interned at Broadway Dance Center and took classes with master teachers.

She returned to Los Angeles to make her dream in commercial dance a reality.  Not soon after she joined Bloc LA and began working as a commercial dancer.  She has worked with choreographers Tina Landon/Jason Myhre, Sonya Tayeh, Mike Esperanza, Rhapsody James and more.

She lives with her dog, Dilla and when she is not dancing, she is teaching Pilates, practicing yoga and loving life.
