Reshma Gajjar

Reshma Gajjar is a first generation American created by her outstanding immigrant parents from India. Raised in Northern California, she moved to Los Angeles on a scholarship to the EDGE Performing Arts Center.

She became a citizen of the world while touring for MADONNA, RICKY MARTIN, A.R. RAHMAN and pioneered a career in dance for the south asian youth.

She is also most notably known being the “Ingenue in the yellow dress” who opens the film Oscar winning film, LA LA LAND.

Her experience in front of the camera includes film productions such as AMERICAN BEAUTY, 500 DAYS OF SUMMER, and SISTER. She has performed on countless shows including THE OSCARS, DANCING WITH THE STARS, GOLDEN GLOBES, GRAMMYS, MTV, AMAs and THE OLYMPICS. Reshma also played a Devil Girl named Sondi for two seasons of VH1's smash television show HIT THE FLOOR.

She values having a balance of working commercially as well as a performance artist. She prioritizes opportunities to dance with RYAN HEFFINGTON, WIFE, HYSTERICA DANCE COMPANY and HARLOW GOLD with her time with artists like SIA, SELENA GOMEZ, LOGIC, HOZIER and BLACK EYED PEAS.

When she is not performing, she is getting involved with her local community, serving as a mentor, being a ceramicist and seeking the wisdom and fashion of the elderly.
