Zoey Black

Zoey is a born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She began her training when she was 6 years old studying all areas of dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Tap. She received distinctions in her R.A.D Ballet exams up until Advanced 1 level and her training was gained at Brent Street Studios where she also completed a full time course in 2009 where she received a Certificate IV in Performing Arts. Since becoming professional at the age of 17 she has been able to work with Australia’s elite and top choreographers and has also been fortunate enough to work with many respected international choreographers as well. She was a featured dancer on Xfactor Australia, 4 seasons, The Voice, 2 seasons, and Dance Academy season 2. Her other television credits include Australia's Got Talent, TV Week Logies, The Aria's, Australian Idol. She has performed for many commendable national and international artists such as FLO RIDA, Nick Jonas, Ricky Martin, Kelly Rowland, Jessie J, Red Foo, Kelly Clarkson, Alexis Jordan, Cher Lloyd, Robbie Williams, Danni Minogue, Timomatic, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Sneaky Sound System. In 2014 she was a contestant on the hit dance television show ' So You Think You Can Dance' season 4 where she made it to the Top 10. Zoey always had her eyes set on moving to America from a young age, so at the end of 2014 she took the plunge and has since been residing in Los Angeles. She is continuing to work on her training and finding her feet, and believes in putting her mind to things and working hard to see goals come to life.
