JA Collective is a collaboration between Los Angeles natives Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry. JA Collective specializes in Creative Direction, Choreography, and Dance. Starting as  dancers, Jordan and Aidan have performed for artists and brands such as Katy Perry, The 1975, Gucci, Dolly Parton, Lee Jeans, Gap, Tyler Childers, and more.

After studying dance together at the University of Southern California, JA Collective became best known for their work with the band Half•Alive. JA Collective has directed, choreographed, and performed with Half•Alive on  Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show starring James Corden, NPR Tiny Desk,  Lollapalooza, Outsidelands, as well asTwo World Tours. In addition to that work, JA Collective has choreographed for K-Pop sensation CL, Kiana Lede, Matoma, MNEK, and recently created work for an Allstate commercial. In the past 2 years Jordan and Aidan have invested in concert dance as well, producing 2 full length live shows of their own work.

JA Collective has a unique ability to combine the pedestrian and the performative into a seamless imaginative dance. Aidan coming from a hip hop/popping background with Jordan’s training in contemporary/performance art; gives their work an ability to transcend traditional form. Whether it be intimate stage performances, film, or large venues, they value bringing authenticity, respect, and care to all people they create for and with.
