Jennifer Hamilton

When you work with Jennifer Hamilton, you get one of the great professionals in the industry. She’s a jack-of-all-trades choreographer and a masterful technician. Jennifer is admired on projects for her professionalism, skill, and creativity. She is trusted by talent for how natural she makes them look on stage and screen, and emulated by dancers for the way she’s able to bring their talents out of them. Seasoned, skilled and polished, Hamilton can do it all and do it well. 


A Southern California native, Hamilton has been dancing, choreographing and teaching for over 20 years, and dancing herself since she was 4 years old. Outside of her continuous work as a choreographer, Hamilton owns and operates a dance studio for kids in the heart of Los Angeles called The Floor Dance Academy. She continues to teach master dance classes nationwide, and is a professor at PACE Performing Arts University in their Los Angeles sector of commercial dance. 


Jennifer is also known for her strong and trusted work relationships with celebrities throughout her career, as well as holding a respectful role among dancers and peers in the dance community. Her extensive knowledge in cardio-based workouts met with her expertise in a multitude of dance styles has allowed her to work on a many projects with a vast array of styles and ability levels.


Hamilton has over 50 films under her belt, which span from comedies such as the Austin Powers trilogy to the dramatic introspective work of Terrence Malick’s Voyage of Time.  Indie films such as The Runaways, Easy A, and Little Miss Sunshine, to studio films such as Rush Hour 3, Spiderman 3 and Charlie’s Angels. 


Jennifer’s television credits include the 92nd Oscars as Supervising Choreographer, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Dancing w/ the Stars, CSI, Bones, American Housewife, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. In addition, Jennifer choreographed the widely noticed NBC musical dance promo for the 2012 Superbowl featuring the casts of 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, SNL and The OfficeJennifer has most recently completed choreography on season one of the upcoming dark comedy for Apple TV Network, Physical, starring Rose Byrne.   


Some of her commercial and video credits include Apple Music, Lexus, Suntrust, Pepsi, Skippy, Carl’s Jr., Ebay, Travelzoo, Gap, Old Navy, Colgate, Lenny Kravitz and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.


She has been a creative director and choreographer for live shows and groups including the all-girl rock group The Darling Stilettos which was created by former Guns ‘n’ Roses drummer, Matt Sorum and the rock n roll girl dance group/show

Roxy Bazaar. Jennifer has also worked as an associate choreographer and performer on various Broadway and Off -Broadway shows. 


With an undying passion for her craft, Hamilton stays hungry and driven to constantly create and express art through movement. 


Hamilton resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons.
