Christina de la Cruz was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She received most of her fundamental Hip Hop training from a community centre in the heart of the immigrant neighbourhood of St. Jamestown.Â Through various scholarships and subsidies she was able to receive recreational training in Jazz, Tap and dancehall. Since then, she has had the privilege to work with Janelle Monae, Kiesza, Dragonette, Nelly Furtado, Zoe Kravitz and Footlocker. She broke into the Canadian television industry, with recurring roles on the Family Channel’s Backstage, Nickelodeon’s Make It Pop and YTV’s the Next Star. She enjoys the theatrical side of urban dance, through projects such as Cirque Du Soleil’s Pan Am Games Ceremony, Fox’s Rocky Horror Picture Show, Disneyâ€™s Descendants 2, and the Monsters of Hip Hop Show. In her time in Los Angeles she’s been blessed enough to work with Drake, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Sean Paul, Becky G, IRL and Daddy Yankee. She considers a strong work ethic and a humble mentality two of a dancerâ€™s greatest tools for success in this industry.
