Courtney van Wirdum


Courtney van Wirdum is originally from Toronto, Canada. She has been a performer since the age of 6. Courtney is a graduate from Performing Dance Arts, located in Woodbridge, Canada where she trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, hip hop, musical theatre and partnering. She has participated in numerous competitions and dance conventions across North America. Courtney graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Ryerson University under the instruction of Nadia Potts. She is an A.D.A.P.T certified dance teacher and a talented young choreographer.  Along with her passion for dance, Courtney also has been singing since a very young age under the training of Falconer Abraham, Elaine Overholt and Lorraine Lawson. She can be seen in American national commercial for ‘Mystic Lake Casino’, choreographed by Ryan Heffington and ‘Coca Cola’ commercial choreographed by Luther Brown. She most recently performed as supporting lead “Emma” in feature film ‘Full Out’ broadcasted on NBC and Disney Channel worldwide.  She currently is lead dancer and dance captain for touring show“Return To Grace”. Her TV credits include, The Next Star season 5 and 7, Lost Girl season 3 and Much Music’s “The Big Jingle”. She has danced for Canadian artists, Mia Martina and Serena Ryder. Courtney is very excited to be currently living in Los Angeles and continue pursuing her dreams as a professional actor, dancer and singer.
