Malik Chris Russell

Malik Chris is an East Oakland native where he was born and raised. Began dancing at age 6, locally as a turf dancer. In high school Malik began studying Musical Theater, being in shows The Wiz (Muchkin, Flying Monkey), Hairspray (Seaweed), Across The Universe (Paco) and Dreamgirls (Jimmy Early). Soon after high school, began dancing with Culture Shock Oakland under the direction and training of Kim Simms-Battiste. Performing with CSO at Super Bowl 50, 49ers Halftime Show with Snoop Dogg, and Oracle Open World Forum. In 2018, Malik relocated to Los Angeles to study Musical Theater Performing Arts at AMDA. Since leaving AMDA, Malik has worked dancing for JoJo Siwa’s DREAM TOUR, Iggy Azalea, and Faith Evans. Currently signed with Bloc Talent Agency
