A Bronx native, Nekai Blair started dancing at the age of nine at Dance Theatre of Harlem in NYC under the direction of Arthur Mitchell. Her training at this studio helped her get accepted into the dance program at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S. for Music and Art & Performing Arts aka “The Fame School.” In an effort to become versatile, Nekai started training full-time at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, studying street jazz and hip hop styles.

Nekai has had the privilege to work with Robin Thicke, Kanye West, the Black Eyed Peas, Estelle, and Nicki Minaj. Some of her television credits include: the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Voice, The Today Show, and the MTV VMA’s pre-show. Nekai has also completed a 40-city tour with The Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions featuring the 2012 gold-winning women’s Olympic team. You can currently catch her dancing for Ariana Grande.
