Ricky Alvarez

Ricky Alvarez was born and raised in San Diego, CA. His early years were spent playing competivie sports such as football, soccer, track, baseball and even raced motorcycles. He did not find his love and passion for dance until 19 years old. But don’t be fooled by his lack of early training. His hard work ethic, skills and versatility have quickly established him as one of the top dancers in the industry. Approached by Erik Saradpon of FORMALity, trained for a solid 3 years at Temecula Dance Company while traveling back and fourth to Los Angeles before being professionally signed. Once he started training and working he never looked back and fell more in love with the industry of entertainment.

Today, Ricky has moved his career to sunny Los Angeles, CA and has become an internationally recognized performer and has worked with artists such as Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin, Jessie J, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer and many more. Has made multiple appearances on Saturday Night Live (NBC), Dancing with the Stars (ABC), Jane, the Virgin (The CW), MTV Music and Movie Awards, etc. He currently travels the world performing and when back home in Los Angeles his skills aren’t just limited to dance. He is a professional photographer and actor while still taking the right steps and classes to be the best all-around creative he can be.
