Simrin

Simrin was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1998.  Ever since she could hold herself up on the furniture, she has been bouncing and smiling to the music. On Simrin’s third birthday, her mother took her to a local ballet studio and signed her up for classes. At age four her family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. It was in Phoenix, at age 7, where Simrin watched a group of hip hop dancers perform, and realized that she wanted to expand her dance training. Since then, Simrin has become a very dedicated and passionate dancer in all styles of dance  She trains in many different styles of dance including Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Breakin, Ballet, Pointe and Tap.  She also acts and sings with the same commitment and confidence that she embodies with dance.

Simrin’s professional career began at age nine with her first television appearance on Vh1’s “Hip Hop Honors Awards Show” honoring Missy Elliot.  Since then, Simrin has gone on to work with other popular and well-noted entertainers including Justin Bieber, Willow Smith, Miley Cryus, Selena Gomez, Shakira, Cee Lo Green, Katie Holmes, and Adam Sandler. Simrin was asked to perform in a tour with Willow Smith’s and Justin Bieber’s European Tour. She performed everyday in front of thousands of people in sold-out arenas throughout the United Kingdom.  With Willow Smith, Simrin has also performed for the President and First Lady.  It was an extremely successful and rewarding experience for Simrin.

Simrin has built a substantial resume that includes performances in Disney's "Step Up 3D", NBC's "The Voice", The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Nickelodeon's Season 2 of "The Fresh Beat Band" (as Jr. Kiki), and the feature film "Jack and Jill", starring Adam Sandler. She has performed for the MTV Video Music Awards, the Kid's Choice Awards, the Vh1 Hip Hop Honors Awards, and much more.  Simrin has appeared in music videos for Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love", Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" and "Twenty-first Century Girl", and Shakira's "This Time for Africa". She has appeared in print, movie and television commercials including an extensive Sears Back-to-School campaign with Selena Gomez.

Future aspirations for Simrin include continuing to grow artistically and attending college. She is always looking for ways to challenge herself by accepting new roles in dance, film and television.  Her goal is to provide entertainment, happiness and inspiration to as many people around the world as possible, in all media, over a long period of time.
