A local boy from the islands of Hawai'i, Whyley Keolaokalani Yoshimura pursued his professional dance career right after high school. He immediately started working with Disney artist Mitchell Musso, and in 2007 he had the amazing opportunity to dance in Janet Jackson's "Feedback" music video. From then on, he has been fortunate enough to work on world tours, live stage performances, music videos, television performances, and commercials alongside high-profile artists such as Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Nelly Furtado. He has also appeared in commercials for Kohl's, NutriSystem, Toyota, and Samsung. He can recently be found dancing next to Chris Brown in his "Fine China" music video, or next to Jennifer Lopez in her "Live it up" music video, both of which are nominated for best choreography at this year's VMA's. Currently, Whyley is a full-time faculty member at Los Angeles' EDGE Performing Arts Center, teaching jazz-funk to students from all over the world.
