Jay Jay Dixonbey was born in Detroit MI, where has studied multiple styles of dance including, but not limited to: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary since the age of 9. After he graduated from high school, Jay Jay took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles to further his dance career. Jay Jay is very passionate about the art form of dance. As a young aspiring artist, Jay Jay believes that dance is an experience. Jay Jay is known for his recent work on So You Think Can Dance Season 15 as well as the So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour 2018! Jay Jay had opportunity to tour with Derek Hough on his newest solo tour “Derek Hough Live”. He has appeared on other TV Shows such as Ellen DeGeneres (Season 16) and the 89th Oscar Academy Awards. Jay Jay has had the pleasure of working with world esteemed choreographers such as Ray Leeper, Mandy Moore, Luther Brown, Mia Micheals, Mark Meismer Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Travis Wall just to name a few. He is very proud and honored to be member of Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound. He is also the Artistic Director of Power Dance Company, which is his family business located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Jay Jay is so excited to share all his love of dance with all fo you.
