BIO: Mel Charlot has been making her mark in the industry with her choreography, groove, & creativity for over a decade. Her choreography can be seen featured on TV shows such as The Masked Singer, I Can See Your Voice, ABDC (Qc), Disney’s Fam Jam, Dieux de la Danse, and CBC (digital short for Black History

Month); music videos for artists such as Lizzo, FHB, Sandy Duperval, Sasha Chaa; and commercials for Jordan, Nike, Avon. As an assistant and associate choreographer, she has worked on the Rumors Festival Tour (Lizzo), Yandel Tour Tanisha Scott), BET Awards, Lip Sync Battle, and more. As a movement coach for SONY artists FHB and Zion Kuwonu (Prettymuch), Charlot enjoys bringing out the best in each artist and watching them blossom into successful artists today.

Charlot (a French Canadian born artist of Haitian descent) has taken her hip hop and commercial dance training from Montreal to New York City to Los Angeles. It has given her the tools to perform alongside artists such as Lizzo, Deborah Cox, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Sofia Carson, Meg Donelly, Fetty Wap, and more. Her infectious charisma as a performer led her to the Broadway stage appearing in Holler If Ya Hear Me and in national ad campaigns for Jordan NIKE, L’Oreal, Amla Oil, Makeup Forever, and many more.

She has inspired dancers around the world from Canada to the U.S., Scotland, Argentina, the UK and across Europe and Asia.  She empowers emerging talent through her roles in artist development, movement coaching, and as a judge on well renowned dance competitions such as World of Dance, Hip Hop International, Hit The Floor and most recently as the co-director for The Monsters Show in Los Angeles (REBIRTH).  You can also find Charlot teaching in many cities across the US at The Monsters-A-List Convention, and as a guest teacher at top LA & NY dance studios such as Millennium Dance Complex, Movement Lifestyle, and Broadway Dance Center. Mel Charlot is simply destined to follow God’s plan for her as she inspires and shares her gift and hard work with others along the way!
