Yorelis Apolinario

STYLE: Hip Hop, Contemporary Fusion, Freestyle, Popping
BIO: Yorelis Apolinario, performer based out of Tampa, Florida, has been been dancing since she was 8 years old. She studied classical style such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary all her life. Later on, she added Hip Hop styles like Popping, Animation, and Freestyle to her repertoire. From 2012 to 2014, she was able to tour with The Pulse On Tour convention under the instruction of the industry’s most sought after choreographers such as Dave Scott, Gil Duldulao, and Brian Freidman. The same year, Yorelis was initiated into the all-style crew “The Flooridians” where she receives training in foundational hip hop and co-founded a company named “Female Energy” that stresses female empowerment and all-styles of dance. Yorelis also competed on the television show “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 12 where she made it to the Top 7 street dancers. Following the show, she joined the “So You Think You Can Dance Tour” traveling the United States and Canada. Yorelis has danced behind with artists such as Jordan Fisher, Alyson Stoner and Tinashe. She has also performed on shows like “The Voice” and the Hulu series “East Los High” where she acted as well as danced! She can currently be seen dancing with the Backstreet Boys in their Vegas residency show. Nowadays, Yorelis resides in LA to further her dance training and her dance career.
