Christopher Scott

BIO:

Christopher Scott is a three-time Emmy-nominated choreographer whose bold routines and fearless creativity step beyond the traditional boundaries of dance. He is most recognized for his innovative hip-hop duets and signature group routines that fuse dance styles on Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.  Recent projects choreographed by Chris include Warner Brothers’ musical IN THE HEIGHTS, Amazon Studios’ BEING THE RICARDOS starring Nicole Kidman, Fox’s THE BIG LEAP (producer/choreographer), and SNEAKERELLA for Disney+. Upcoming projects include choreographing the motion picture musical Wicked directed by Jon Chu.

Other projects also include producing and choreographing Showtime’s dance drama film, ALL STYLES, co-choreographing Gwen Stefani’s JUST A GIRL residency in Las Vegas, and Freeform’s hit drama GOOD TROUBLE.

Chris has worked with renowned artists such as Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons, Khalid, and Gloria Estefan. On film and television, his projects include the 82nd ACADEMY AWARDS, STEP UP 4: REVOLUTION, STEP UP 5: ALL IN, DANCING WITH THE STARS, and AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW. His exciting and inventive choreography can also be seen in the acclaimed MICROSOFT “Surface/Surface Pro” tablet commercials and the viral hit “Safety Video” for VIRGIN AMERICA. Additional credits include choreographing 1,500 dancers for the closing ceremony of the inaugural EUROPEAN GAMES in 2015.

Chris’ frequent collaborations with Disney include choreographing the record breaking Disney Channel Original Movies TEEN BEACH MOVIE, TEEN BEACH MOVIE 2, Z-O-M-B-I-E-S, and the TV series AUSTIN + ALLY.

Beyond his skills as a choreographer, Chris was an associate producer, choreographer and director for the first online dance adventure, THE LXD: THE LEGION OF EXTRAORINDARY DANCERS. The LXD has performed live on DANCING WITH THE STARS, The GLEE TOUR, The 82^nd Annual ACADEMY AWARDS, TED TALK, and THE CONAN O’BRIEN SHOW.
