BIO: Travis Wall gained national recognition appearing as a contestant and subsequently a choreographer on Fox’s hit show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Over the show’s run Travis has garnered an unprecedented 10 consecutive Emmy nominations including 2 wins for Outstanding Choreography. His work will next be seen in Steven Spielberg’s THE FABELMANS starring Michelle Williams.

Wall produced and starred in Oxygen’s docu-reality series ALL THE RIGHT MOVES based on Travis and his dance company Shaping Sound. In addition to three successful Shaping Sound National Tours, Travis’ other live credits include the Off-Broadway production of B.A.R.E: A ROCK MUSICAL at New World Stages and THE WRONG MAN at MCC directed by Tony Award winner Thomas Kail. For his work in THE WRONG MAN, Travis garnered the 2020 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Choreography in an Off-Broadway Musical.

Travis’ film credits include THE BINGE, THE WEDDING RINGER, and STEP UP: REVOLUTION. On television Travis’ credits include PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, DANCING WITH THE STARS, THE ACADEMY AWARDS, RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE, DALLAS COWBOY CHEERLEADERS, and the MTV VMAs.

Travis has choreographed music videos for Carrie Underwood (“Something in the Water”), Jennifer Lopez (“Limitless”), and Sara Bareilles (“Fire”); and has also set stage performances for Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber. In the ballet realm he has choreographed for the Los Angeles City Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. Other notable collaborations include work with New York City Ballet principal ballerina Tiler Peck and Olympic figure skating Medalist Adam Rippon and Evan Lysachek.

Travis has been dancing since the age of 3, starting at his mother’s studio training in jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. Wall got his first professional job at 9 when he became known as the “Dr. Pepper Boy” in a national commercial campaign. He was later discovered by Tony Award winning director Susan Stroman who cast him in the 2001 revival of THE MUSIC MAN, for which he made his Broadway debut.
