Greer

Greer Whillans is a Canadian born professional dancer and choreographer, actor, and model, currently based out of Los Angeles, California. She has received great accolades for her choreography showcased in 2018 Crazy 8s Film Festival ‘Small Fish’ directed by Maxime Beauchamp. Last season Greer was invited as one of six choreographers selected to participate in the Dance Center’s '12 Minutes Max' upcoming presentation in the Faris Family Studio Theatre.

A sought after instructor, she was principal dancer for many years at the Vancouver 'WE Day' events, where she taught over 17,000 youth annually the WE Day dance at Rogers Arena. She is a valued crew member at Groove Street Dance Conventions, where she works closely with many of the industry’s top professionals. Greer was assistant choreographer for Disney’s touring artist Desirae, she comes highly recommended as an assistant and teacher by many top choreographers including Moe Brody and Joanne Pesusich.

Her breadth of experience includes performing in theatre productions such as Mitac’s ‘Math Out Loud’ directed by Mackenzie Gray, dancing for choreographer Paul Becker on Disney’s original TV movie ‘Girl vs Monster’ and for Heather Laura Gray in the CW Network’s TV show ‘iZombie’. During Canada’s 150th Celebration Greer performed for thousands at HFour’s production for the Cherry Blossom Festival Spring Lights held in Queen Elizabeth Park. She has performed for industrials for Telus, Variety: The Childrens Charity, and the Times of India Film Awards, as well as modeling for Vancouver’s Eco Fashion Week. Greer can most recently be seen modeling in print campaigns for Ford Mustang, Honda Accord, and Cinema Secrets cosmetics. She can also be seen in television ads for Budlight, Apple Inc, Verizon, Campbell’s Soups, Kohler and Mattel Games to name a few.

Greer is co-founder of Countdown Dance Intensives, a two day customizable program with full days of classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Yoga, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical & Musical Theatre! Countdown aims to provide that intimate connection that students crave, provide mentorship, motivate & inspire kids to reach their full potential. She is also co-founder of lymi an exclusive pop-up dance series for beginner adults interested in learning to dance.
