Sacramento native Kendra Jae fell in love with inspiring crowds through her movement as far back as she can remember.  It all started when, at the age of 6, Kendra joined the Sacramento Kings Hip Hop Crew.  Soon after, she was signed by the DDO Artist Agency (now known as MTA ) where she was represented in both Commercials and Dance.  After working on commercials for WalMart and Bratz and working for top industry choreographers on the Macy’s Passport as both a dancer and a model, Kendra joined Step 1 Dance and Fitness to further her dance experience.

Here she trained in jazz, ballet, contemporary, modern, tap and hip hop.  She also participated in numerous dance conventions throughout her teens and, as a result, has been trained by and has worked under some of the best dancers and choreographers in the business.  Kendra has won numerous scholarships that gave her opportunities to assist and travel with conventions like the Pulse, HC dance and Co. Dance.

By the age of 17 Kendra began to share her passion for dance with others by teaching at local Sacramento dance studios. She taught ballet, jazz and hip hop to kids ages 4-16 and went on to direct and choreograph dancers on stages around Sacramento.  Understanding she was 'born to inspire,' Kendra moved to Los Angeles when she turned 18 to pursue her dream career in dance.

She continued her dance training at Millennium, The Edge, Debbie Reynolds and IDA to name a few of the studios at which she studied.  Kendra joined the faculty at the Rage Entertainment Complex in Granada Hills where, for two years, she taught aspiring dancers of all ages in styles such as ballet, jazz and hip hop and choreographed award winning competition routines.

In 2015 Kendra auditioned to join Rich Fam, a family of artists from all over the world founded by Rob Rich, which enables aspiring dancers to train under the best and perform for audiences around the world.  Shortly thereafter  Kendra was awarded a 6 month scholarship as part of the Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio Inaugural Scholarship program founded by Erin Marino, which incorporated up to 25 hours of dance, yoga, pilates, and workshops a week.  The scholarship program developed all the tools Kendra needed to accomplish her dreams in the enormously competitive entertainment industry.  By the end of her program, Kendra auditioned for, and was selected to join 18 other strong, talented and powerful woman, as the dancers on Beyonce’s Formation World Tour.

Today she is signed to the BLOC Talent Agency, continues her professional dance career and continues teaching master classes to share her passion and love for movement with students around the country.  Kendra is also developing entrepreneurial projects which she hopes to bring to the public in 2017 and still focuses on her fitness and well being.

Always striving to be the best version of herself, Kendra Jae is known by everyone around her as a young women who never gave up and never will.  At the young age 23, Kendra Jae is just getting started.  Catch her on a stage near you…
