Alexandra Yonkovich

Born & raised in Fullerton, CA, Alex began her dance training at a young age and after dancing both competitively & theatrically, she earned her BFA in dance from The University of Arizona (2015). Alex has spent additional time training with Galen Hooks Method Pro-Intensive, River North Dance Chicago, Interlochen Arts Camp, Idyllwild Arts, Brockus Dance Project, UCLA Performing Arts Camp.

Most recently performing in LA Opera’s 2022 production of Aida, Alex is no stranger to live theatre. From 2015 – 2020, she was a full-time ensemble dancer & soloist in The Beatles LOVE by Cirque Du Soleil where she assumed dance captain & artist coach. During that time, her additional experiences included Dancing with the Stars: Showstoppers, Life is Beautiful, and LIVE! with Kelly & Ryan. Alex’s reputation grew exponentially while in Las Vegas, working for several events presented by Cirque Du Soleil such as multiple productions of One Night For One Drop where she performed with both Hans Zimmer and Jewel. Now based in Los Angeles, her credits include performances with Walk The Moon, Paris Jackson, The Struts, Let’s Make A Deal, Burger King & Target as she also continues to teach & choreograph across the country.
