Kevin Mylrea

Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Kevin Mylrea is most recognized as a top 20 finalist on Season 1 of the hit tv show “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” on CTV. He began his dance training at his mother’s dance studio and later moved to Vancouver to pursue his passion for dance. Since then – he has trained extensively throughout Europe, Japan and the United States and Canada. He’s worked and studied with companies such as: Pushing Progress, Spellbound Dance Company “Rome, MOVE “Vancouver” and has toured the world as a principle soloist in Rasta Thomas’ prestigious company “Bad Boys of Dance.” Kevin recently appeared as a featured dancer in director/choreographer Rob Ashford's recent revival of Carousel at the Chicago Lyric Opera House.
Kevin spent two years as a contemporary soloist and primary pas de deux dancer for the world famous Cirque Du Soleil production “LOVE” in Las Vegas. His film and television credits include: the recent Disney Channel's smash The Decendants, Alvin & The Chipmunks the Squekquel, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Cinderella Story 2, Eureka, Dr. Dolittle 3, Hellcats and Mirror Mirror. Kevin is a relative newcomer to Los Angeles dance scene and will appear in Disney’s upcoming Jungle Book feature film. He’s also recently worked on commercials for Apple, Chipotle and LG as well as VH1, Hard Rock Café and Hilton Hotels/Homewood Suites. Kevin also performed with Bruno Mars at a private New Year’s Eve show in Las Vegas and appears as a featured dancer in Meghan Trainor's smash hit video "Dear Future Husband"
