Kevin

 Kevin Zambrano is a Los Angeles native recently played Moose in the “West Side Story” Broadway revival, choreographed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and directed by Ivo Van Hove. While in New york he has been interviewed by the likes of Vogue Magazine and The New York Times Style Magazine. Kevin received his BFA in dance from The California Institute of the Arts in 2018.  During his time at school, Kevin choreographed and directed three full-length shows. The first premiered as part of the acting school’s New Works Festival, the second earned him the CalArts’ Interdisciplinary Grant Award and the third was an hour-length immersive solo, performed by Kevin, premiering at REDCAT in Los Angeles.

He is a freelance artist who has worked with a plethora of LA based companies including: BEMOVING, WeWolf, No(one)Arthouse, The TL Collective, and Szalt. His choreographic work has been shown internationally at the Seoul International Choreography Festival in Korea, Henny Jurriens Solo Concert in Amsterdam, Sans Souci Festival in Boulder Colorado and REDCAT LA. Additionally, Kevin has performed for musical artists Solange Knowles, Charli XCX, Pussy Riot and Dorian Electra. Kevin is interested in movement as a means of depicting the natural essence of the human being. The creature without ego. The creature without humility.
