Michael Rubenstone

Michael Rubenstone is a seasoned stage actor. Michael studied abroad at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) during his time as a theatre major at the University of Michigan where he received his BFA. After graduation, Michael cut his teeth on the New York stage and worked in prominent regional theatres including the Pittsburgh Public Theatre and the acclaimed Williamstown Theatre Festival. Michael recently won a Scenie award for his performance of the Odyssey’s production of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage. He’s also performed at ICT Long Beach in End of the Rainbow, The Skylight Theater’s production of Forever House, EST-LA’s production of Butter at Inside the Ford, Fat Pig at the Hudson Theatre and recently appeared in Theatre 68’s production of Beau Willimon’s Farragut North. Michael is also known for his comedic work on popular TV shows like The Goldbergs, Grandfathered, Happy Endings and Breaking In as well as his more dramatic work on The Mentalist, Common Law, Private Practice, Revenge and Jericho. As a voice actor, Michael has done a slew of commercials and has been in loop groups for prominent TV shows for over a decade. Michael is also a talented musician. A multi instrumentalist and singer, Michael plays the guitar, bass, ukulele and sings in a folk duo with his wife in their family band, S+M.
