Sekou Nance

Sekou hails from New Orleans, LA and is a recent transplant to Houston. He’s always had a passion for performing, starting out African dancing along side his mother at the age of 6. Sekou earned his BFA in Music Theater at the American Musical And Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles. Credits in L.A. include Kiss Me Kate (Paul), 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney/Dan Dad/ Jesus), and Hello Again(The Student). In Houston, Sekou is featured in the concept cast recording of The Great White Way” The Bert Williams Musical (Young Bert), which will be released in the near future as well as playing Ronald Clifford in the Houston Premiere of Cruel Intentions: A 90s Musical. He gives all of his love and thanks to his family and friends who have supported him throughout his career. Without them he would be lost!
