Taeko McCarroll


Taeko McCarroll was born in Sacramento, California as the only child of a dual citizen family with her American father and Japanese Mother. Taeko traveled all around the world from the early age of 6 months including Japan, Macedonia, Kenya, and throughout Europe. Taeko attended Sacramento High School focusing on the VAPAC (Visual And Performing Arts Center) program. After graduating with a 3.98 GPA, Taeko was accepted into Cal State Fullerton's Musical Theater program but left after her first year realizing she wanted to pursue her career in the Entertainment Industry as soon as possible.  

After a life time of rigorous training in dance ranging from Ballet to Hip Hop, Taeko gained a reputation for being one of the most versatile dancers in LA, leading her to sign with Bloc Talent Agency in 2010.  Since signing with Bloc she has danced for artists such as Ludacris, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Jason Derulo, Rihanna, and P!nk. Taeko has been featured in TV shows such as "Americas Best Dance Crew", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Glee", "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", and "The Middle". She has also been featured as a principal actor in commercials for Realtor.com and Little Caesars Pizza.  Taeko booked a principal supporting role in the feature film "Breaking Through" making her public acting debut in 2015 and is currently touring the nation with the Broadway musical Hamilton.
